When installing the ova in a virtual machine it tells me that the license limit is 7 nodes/100 checks, however it was indicated that CSP would have a limit of 50 nodes with no check limit

Hi Miguel,

Please refer to License Doesn’t Work – Nagios Core Services Platform – Nagios Core Services Platform Forum

Where this issue is covered. It will be resolved on next release. If possible use the OVA/OVF and not update until the next update is released.

Thanks,

Jack W.

Hey Miguel,

From the picture you shown you are on the free trial version. In order to get the CSP licensing go ahead and select licensed for the license key type and then put CSP50 for the license. Also like Jack mentioned above, don't upgrade from 1.2.2 for the time being until 1.3.1 comes out as the csp license will no longer work if you do. We seeing if we can get a fix before 1.3.1 release (will be soon) but if not it will work in 1.3.1.

Thanks,
Sandor G

Hi Miguel,

Just wanted to give you an update on the upgrade situation.  XI 2024R1.3 has been re-released with CSP50 license support, so you should now be able to upgrade.

If you have any issues, please let us know.

Laura

Hello. How many hosts and services can we monitor with promocode CSP50?
