Hi! I am a universty student that tries to improve on system administration and monitoring and I am trying to use nagios on my home-lab. I used to have CSP50 promo code working back then. But after i formatted my device. I cant seem to get it work on again. Also i think because of i am working on proxmox i am having a hard time making the .ova file work.

i tried to install nagiosCSP from "xi-CSP-1.2.1.tar.gz" but after installation whenever i try to activate it with CSP50 nagios asks for ClientID or Token..
is there anything i can do to make this work?
HI cevmr. The CSP50 license has recently been replaced with CSP10

Have you tried to submit it while leaving that section blank? If not let us know because that isn't intended.

Got it, I ran some tests to see if I got similar results off the latest CSP OVA and I'm seeing the same thing. I let those involved with the csp licensing know about the issue.
So the patch that csp1.2.1 installs is 2024R1.4.4 which is a version that is between the CSP50 key and CSP10 so that makes sense why the key isnt working. If you install a newer version of XI and use CSP10 than it should work properly. I will let our build team know that the current CSP version is a version that doesnt work for the CSP keys.
@sandor Thanks for everything! i happen to find my old backup of nagios on proxmox. it runs 2024R1.3.1 but there is no license issue or anything! i might stick to it for some time 😀
@cevmr That's a good ideal. Can always keep an eye on our changelog to see if there are any new features or improvements that might help before taking the leap to upgrade given the constraints on the CSP license. Here is a link to our changelog if you are interested.
