As part of Nagios Enterprises’ ongoing efforts to recognize the importance of our valuable community members, Nagios is proud to announce our Nagios Community Recognition Program. The recognition program will reward members of the global Nagios community for their hard work and contributions to Nagios.

The Nagios Community Recognition Program accepts submissions sent in by contributors outlining the work they’ve done for the Nagios community. Submissions will be evaluated by the Nagios team and placed into one of three different levels, corresponding to the caliber of the contribution. The three program levels are: Community Visionary (entry-rank level), Community Architect (mid-rank level), and Community Fanatic (top-rank level). Information on the application requirements for each level can be found on the program page.

Selected contributors will be recognized on Nagios’ website and highlighted on our social media channels and will receive an exclusive, official badge for personal use on forums and websites. Contributors whose submissions are ranked in the top two levels will receive additional recognition prizes, including customized t-shirts and Nagios swag.

Submission information

Nagios Community members can submit an application via the Nagios Community Recognition Program page. Submissions must include a summary of contributions to the Nagios community and information on where to find examples supporting their work. More information about the Nagios Community Recognition Program, the submissions requirements, and recognition rewards can be found on the program page.

“We’re always appreciative of the hard work that our community members put in to improve Nagios,” said President and Founder of Nagios Ethan Galstad. “We created the Nagios Community Recognition Program as a way to publicly recognize the important work that our community members do.”

The entire Nagios team is excited to welcome new members to the Nagios Community Recognition Program and recognize their contributions.
