A new version of the NRPE (2.5.2) has been released that fixes a few bugs present in 2.5.1. You can download the latest release here. To all of you U.S. residents - have an enjoyable 4th of July weekend (sans Nagios alerts). |

Conferences! Subhendu Ghosh and Benoit Mortier will be presenting at the upcoming Libre Software Meeting 2006 in Nancy, France that runs from July 4th-8th. Ton Voon, Wolfgang Barth, and Ethan Galstad will be presenting at the NETWAYS Nagios Konferenz 2006 in Nuremberg, Germany that runs from September 21st-22nd. If you're able to attend one or more of these conferences it would be a great opportunity to meet some of the influential folks in the Nagios community. Wolfgang Barth has written an excellent book on Nagios titled "Nagios: System and Network Monitoring", which I would certainly recommend to both new and seasoned Nagios users. No Starch Press is offering Nagios users a discount when ordering the book - click here for more information. |

Nagios 2.4 has been released to fix some relatively minor bugs present in 2.3.1 and earlier (see the Changelog). The new release can be obtained here. Happy monitoring! |

New versions of both the Nagios 1.x and 2.x code branches have been released and contain a fix for another content length (buffer) overflow that could affect the CGIs. Nagios 2.3.1 and (for people running 1.x versions) 1.4.1 can be downloaded here. The Changelog for both releases can be found here. Thanks to Sean Finney and the Debian folks for this patch. |
