The Nagios Community is a rich, worldwide ecosystem of individuals and companies that have organized themselves around a focus on Nagios. There are an estimated 250,000 Nagios users worldwide - that's a huge community of supporters!
Nagios Community members participate by promoting, supporting, and enhancing Nagios with:
- Addons, Plugins, and Extensions that extend Nagios' capabilities
- Websites that provide Nagios news, tips, tricks, and support resources
- Conferences and Workshops that promote Nagios
There are over 200 community-developed addons that extend Nagios' native capabilities by providing enhanced:

Many Nagios addons are hosted on SourceForge.net, where they have been downloaded more than 1.2 million times. That means there have been more than 3 million combined downloads of Nagios and related addons since 2001!
